Silver Keys Barn Dance Band
Silver Keys Barn Dance Band is a barn dance band based in Chelmsford, Essex. We play traditional English, Scottish, Irish and American folk music for barn dances, ceilidhs and country dances.
We perform at parties, pubs, clubs, village fetes and barn dances.
We provide instrumental tunes (such as traditional jigs, reels, hornpipes, polkas and waltzes) for barn dances and ceilidhs, as well as traditional folk songs (with vocals) during the breaks between dances. Our songs include traditional English, Irish, Scottish and American folk songs, as well as country and bluegrass tunes.
We use accordion, mandolin, banjo, guitar, bass and drums.
We can perform with or without a caller. We can perform as a solo, duo, trio or four piece band, and can cater for all budgets.
We are based in Essex, but travel all over the South East of England and further afield. The Silver Keys Barn Dance Band regularly performs in Essex, London, Kent, Hertfordshire, Cambridge and Cambridgeshire, Surrey, Suffolk, Norfolk, Sussex, Berkshire, Oxfordshire, Northamptonshire and Hampshire.
